In the full version of Aviation Fuel Converter, open the app Settings tab and select "Specific Gravity / Density". Standard Jet A defaults to 6.70 lbs/gal (0.804 kg/L) at 15°C (59°F), and 100LL defaults to 6.01 lbs/gal (0.720 kg/L). If fueling in sub-zero Arctic conditions or extreme summer desert heat, you can enter the certified fuel density from your FBO delivery receipt to ensure exact weight & balance compliance.
No. All calculation algorithms, unit conversions, and settings run 100% locally on your iPhone or iPad. It operates without restrictions in airplane mode, at remote backcountry airstrips, or on flight decks at FL350.
Enter your aircraft's current fuel quantity (in gallons, pounds, or liters) and your target departure fuel load. The app instantly computes the exact delta in every unit, allowing you to tell fuel truck operators precisely how many gallons or liters to pump without manual conversions.

The device must be securely fixed in a rigid phone mount attached to the windshield or dashboard. It should not shift, vibrate loosely, or rotate during hard launches. Pocket Dyno provides an on-screen zero-calibration utility prior to initiating each run.
Accurate results require entering total vehicle curb weight plus driver/passenger weight, aerodynamic drag coefficient (Cd), frontal area (square meters or square feet), and tire diameter. Drivetrain loss factor can also be adjusted for Wheel Horsepower (WHP) vs estimated Crank Horsepower (BHP).
